Someone over on comicboards.com asked on the Thor board over there if JMS lurked on the boards. Someone posting with the tag "JMS" said:

"By the way, my nick obviously stands for the Jolly Merry Scholar, my school nick name.
I have nothing to do with J. Michael Stracyn... Strazin.. Strah.. that comic book/TV show writer guy.

...But you knew that."

There's the link. The more I look it over, the less it looks like something written by the Great Maker. Anyone know if he's on that site ever and this should be watched?

No idea if he might lurk on that site or not. Offered as data, though, is that he has been known to post infrequently on Newsarama.com but he's registered as "Straczynski".

I wouldn't expect JMS to make the "nick name" mistake.

Speaking of which...this was a really interesting thread over there. I don't usually read them, but it was about the recent Peter David "what if" storyline that pertained the other, which he collaborated on with JMS. He really went back and forth with a fan for a long time...it was amusing, in case you guys like that. He made a lot of reallllly funny puns.

Peter David is registered as "PAD" over there.

Peter David is registered as "PAD" over there.

That's pretty much his standard handle on "the Internets."
