I was having a look at Joe's Wikipedia entry, and realized that it might need some improvements. Maybe the community could add a few things?

For example:

1) Themes of his work. This is one writer where you can really talk about themes: religion, hope, resistance, faith, etc. run through most of what he's written, from B5 to Changeling.
2) An entry about his work on Babylon 5. I mean, it's kind of a big deal.
3) His past history, as outlined in the script books. I don't think it needs to be hugely detailed, but some of it (like joining a cult) seems quite relevant to his artistic output.
4) Is Joe divorced? The entry for Kathryn Drennan basically says she is his ex-wife, but Joe's entry says nothing. We don't need gossip, but clarity I think is always welcome.

I had more thoughts, but my head hurts and I'm hungry.

Jonas,

I recommend that you sign up for a Wikipedia account and post your suggestions concerning the J. Michael Straczynsk Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Michael_Straczynski) page on the corresponding talk page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:J._Michael_Straczynski). You should also sign your post to the talk page.

It would also be very helpful for you to point to citable sources for the information beyond the jms' screenwriting book. Citable sources would include interviews and other information from reliable publications.

I will. But I thought it might be a good idea to also make people here aware of this, since they tend to know a thing or two (and have sources).

There are more sources now than there used to be - mostly interviews - but I still think the script books should count as sources. Yes, they were limited editions, but if it's not bad practice to quote academic works that have been out of print for 30 years, then this can't be either.

I've updated Kathryn's page a little bit with some of the other things she's done that I know from what I've read. I don't really know enough to expand it to a full article, but I did add a couple of things.

EDIT: re-organized it a bit, I think it looks a little better now. I tracked down a few articles she had written for Starlog and added them as a list. Check out the updated page:
