Okay, I'm bored so I've done some work on putting together a comprehensive list of all JMS material that's out on DVD or Blu-Ray that he wrote for all those that are obsessed like Jan or myself. I tried to make it easy by what seasons you have to buy to get the JMS episodes so you don't have to sort through IMDB. So far here's what I've found availible on DVD officially released but not necessarily bought (in alphabetical order):

TV:
Babylon 5 Seasons 1 - 5
Babylon 5 TV Movies
Babylon 5 Legend of the Rangers
Crusade The Complete Series
*He-man and the masters of the Universe Seasons 1 - 2 (9 Eps)
*Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (13 episodes)
Jeremiah Season 1 - 2
Murder She Wrote Season 8-9 (7 Episodes)
*She-Ra The Princess of Power Season 1 Volume 2 (5 Episodes)
The New Twilight Zone Season 2-3 (12 Episodes)
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 1 (1 Episode)
*The Real Ghostbusters Complete Series (21 episodes)

Movies:
Changeling
Ninja Assassin (Out on the 15th of March)

VHS:

Nightmare Classics - ( http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Case-Dr-Jekyll-Hyde/dp/6301589130 )

Online Stream:

Spiral Zone Cartoon, one episode. It is online to watch at: http://fliiby.com/file/255260/us9a9ncx7b.html

* denotes that it's a cartoon.

Not able to find, need info if it's somewhere watchable:
- The Murder She Wrote TV Movie A Story To Die For
- Jake And the Fatman (the first 2 seasons are out I've seen but JMS wrote seasons 3 and 4. Season 2 was released 5/5/2009. I don't know how long normal hiatus is between seasons if they're going to release them)
- Captain Power (there is a fan produced dvd or blu-ray set which someone dubbed from the out of print VHS from back in the day from http://www.captainpower.com)
- CBS Storybreak (Haven't heard of this)

I can say from what I have, the twilight zone was worth getting for sure. In addition to the JMS episodes, the whole series is really something that's a good watch, and there's a lot of quality writers involved.

I'm going to pick up murder she wrote because I thought that show was decent, and it'll be worth it for that amount of episodes. I really would like to know if that TV movie is out anywhere on DVD most out of the unreleased stuff.

Walker, Texas Ranger....I guess if I can find it used or something. One episode is not really worth buying a whole dvd set for.

Has anyone had much experience with the cartoons? Are they something that as adults are still watchable? And same with captain power for that matter.

- CBS Storybreak (Haven't heard of this)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0961947/
"CBS Storybreak" The Shy Stegosaurus of Cricket Creek (1987)
Writing credits
(in alphabetical order)
Evelyn Sibley Lampman book
J. Michael Straczynski teleplay

The Shy Stegosaurus of Cricket Creek (Hardcover) (http://www.amazon.com/Shy-Stegosaurus-Cricket-Creek/dp/1930900090) is available, but there is no video for sale of the episode.

Much like his one act play Snow White, JMS does not acknowledge this teleplay.

I'm pretty sure that Nightmare Classics would be his version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Exellent list, thanks!

Well the very nice folks at captainpower.com have already gotten back to me about my question I had, which is what's this Captain Power: The Beginning movie? That's apparently 4 of the captain power episodes spliced together and they renamed it a movie. So if we watch the series we don't have to worry about new material looming out there.

Smile, would you mind putting all the the above DVD info into a post in the "Everything You Want to Know about B5" thread? (http://jmsnews.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1130)

I'm pretty sure that Nightmare Classics would be his version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

It was an anthology show, of which JMS's Dr. Jekyll was one episode.

*Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (13 episodes)

Unfortunately there still hasn't been a volume 2 released, so we only have half of the Jayce episodes on DVD.

Thanks for the info Joe. From what you've seen, do you think the cartoons have any value for adults? I've been picking up the live action stuff but other than that I've shied away.

For those who still have a VHS player to dust off, I just found his Nightmare Classics episode available on amazon. Only a few copies left it seems! http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Case-Dr-Jekyll-Hyde/dp/6301589130

Updated list!

I think the early Real Ghostbusters stuff is pretty good (first network and first syndication seasons), if you like Joe's quirky sense of humor. It was the cartoon least driven by merchandise so they were free to write the scripts as they wanted. They also got some interesting writers in those early episodes: David Gerrold, J. M. DeMatteis, Linda Woolverton (who just wrote that Disney Alice in Wonderland) and some others, and of course Larry DiTillio wrote some episodes too.

I just rewatched some Real Ghostbusters episodes today. I forgot how funny they could be. Definitely worth it if you are a fan of Joe's scripts, and Joe had a "no kids" philosophy on this one as well. When the Junior Ghostbusters showed up is when Joe headed for the door, so just watch up to the end of his run as story editor (the first 78 episodes, about 14 or 15 written by Joe but all edited by him) and you'll be happy you did. What's nice is the show doesn't try to dumb it down at all. He wrote several scripts for later seasons but wasn't story editor at that point.

EDIT: Forgot to point out that Kathryn Drennan wrote a few episodes as well!
