With Christmas about 6 months away, I was wondering if the scripts team had any plans to offer any other non-book merchandise this year?
In years past, I've enjoyed the various quote shirts, magnets, and mugs that were offered.
Any chances on something coming out this year for the discriminating Babylon 5 fan to get for the holidays?
(Hoping to avoid cryptic responses from Jan, Jason, Jaclyn or any other "J" named staffer.)
I haven't heard of anything but I've sent your note upstream.
Noncryptically yours ;),
Jan
BTW, are you looking for anything in particular? Still lots of quote stuff available at http://www.cafepress.com/b5quotes

I wish real Babylon 5 and Crusade baseball caps (the kind with licensed embroidered designs) were still available. Mine are all pretty much worn out. So far, the Crusade hat has fared the best.
That person on eBay never seems to get around to looking for the hats she supposedly has. :(
^^ I hear ya; I wish she'd (I think it's a she) hurry up. Sadly, logo items aren't something we can do since it would infringe on WB's copyright.

Out of curiosity, Jan, do you believe there would be interest in items labeled:
I've been Straczynskied
with or without the definition:
Straczynskied -
(1) vt past tense - To have been inspired towards simultaneous and profound curiosity, anticipation, awe, dread, and somber reflection through the skillful use of misdirection, foreshadowing, mental torture, and other literary devices leading to disturbed sleep, frightening nightmares, hallucinations, compulsive behavior, and general obsession.
(2) vt past tense - To have been obliterated by a large asteroid with the name 8379 STRACZYNSKI that doesn't go boom today, but boom tomorrow.
(3) vt past tense - To have been visited by the fifth horseman, where the first 3 horsemen were sabotaged and destroyed, and the fourth horseman disappeared mysteriously, and....

I like it! :D
I like it a lot, too. Dan, are you asking about it being sold via the quote store? I'm not sure we can since it's not something JMS wrote. I think your best bet would be to send it to Captain Jaclyn at help@babylon5scripts.com and see what she thinks.
One thing...I don't think there's anything CP sells that would allow the 'with definitions' version to be readable except perhaps one of the prints.

Actually, the third definition regarding the fifth horseman is a slight rewording of something Joe-ms wrote.

Well, the first 3 horsemen were sabotaged and destroyed, and the fourth
horseman disappeared mysteriously, and....

Thanks Jan. For some reason, I had assumed that the quote store was gone. I'll be ordering soon.
