Carl Sagan - Smithsonian

The other week I was listening to an interview on NPR with Carl Sagan's widow. She was being interviewed about Carl Sagan's works and writings going into the Smithsonian. She said this was all due to Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy) who put up all the money and made it happen. She also said Seth was responsible for convincing Fox to do a new Cosmos.

Yay Seth! At least for the Smithsonian part. We will have to wait to see about cheering on the new Cosmos.

Carl Sagan made science interesting for me as a boy. So for this to happen is excellent news and totally fitting.

And let's hear it for Mr. McFarlane too.
