Funny prop story that Bill Mumy told me at a convention once. At the end of B5, he asked if he could have his Ranger pin and they agreed. When he got it, it had Mira's name on it instead.

My script collection originally belonged to a member of the prop/art department. Going through his scripts there are lots of notes about how many links and PPGs and things would be needed for different scenes.

The myriad details that go into making a TV show are incredible.

Just an FYI to anyone who bid on this stuff...somebody at
birlikis1@yahoo.com has been emailing bidders to tell them that he's me
and that buyer A bailed or couldn't make it so they're being offered a
second chance to get it. Be warned, this is a fraudulent email.

I must say, I'm incredibly surprised at the final buy price of the medals. I expected the final price to be in the $10-15,000 range, but they went for $4000. But whoever got them is one lucky SOB!

JMS relisted the "V" script last night for 5 days only.

He also noted that the $10 shipping fee is good for overseas buyers as well as USians...but ONLY for customers inside of Mars orbit. I'm sure the Plutonions will be disappointed.

Some scripts with producer's/director's cut tapes went up last night along with the Peter Ledger painting, a PPG and (my favorite!) a Nakaleen Feeder!

There's only 16 hours left on the 'V' script dutch auction, too. So far, combining the two cycles together it'll be a low print run.

Timing being everything, the one time I've ever been, or expect to ever be, in California was almost two months ago. Guess I'll have to be content with convention encounters.

I'd *love* to have the painting, too.

BTW, to anyone looking on, somebody hijacked the Medal of the Line
auction information and is holding a fraudulent Ebay auction for this,
even using my exact copy and photos. If there's anybody in law
enforcement looking on, or anybody with Ebay, this person needs to be
nailed.

This is the second time during these auctions that defrauders have tried to profit. After the first round of auctions, JMS reported that somebody was emailing bidders who didn't win, posing as JMS, to offer 'Second Chance Offers' to them.

The PPG is over $4200. Wow. Amazing what people will pay for something they really really want. Plus the face that there are people out there with the money to do it too. Good for them

Sadly, this was just a little too far out of the
budget.. If I could just convince my landlord he doesn't really need rent from me every month...

Yeah, that's always a problem, isn't it? It's been many years since I've seen 'V' but since I've got a 'thing' for scripts, no way I could pass this one up. I doubt I'll be able to afford a genuine JMS-used B5 script. Waahhhh!

Does anyone know what happened with the PPG? Yesterday afternoon it was $6100. this morning it was over $10,000. and now it is back down to $4250.00. Weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
