I understood that, and disagreed. She may have slept with the majority of humans, but I don't think the majority of humans is like her.

Rose was (perhaps) comfortable with her sexuality, but when she fell for the Doctor, she fell for the Doctor. She genuinely loved him. And it was beautiful. (Until that silly ending, but ah well. They tried.)

Rory, on the other hand, has to be grateful for every bit of attention he gets from Amy. She is trying to get into other men's pants while she and Rory are actually engaged!

But I have to admit that the last season was by far the worst I have seen. Though I blame that more on Moffat's writing most points made about her selfishness and sexual affection for the Doctor while she is with Rory hold some merrit.

I do dislike what I've read of Heinlein. I have no problem with polyamory; if Amy was depicted as a genuinely polyamorous character, I think that'd be spiffy.

We see this sort of thing all the time: the guy who is always interested in other girls, who only doesn't sleep with them because they won't let him, and who is followed around by a feeble girlfriend who is supposed to be grateful for every little bit of attention she gets. Inverting the genders doesn't make it more admirable.

No, there isn't, and I did not make any personal comments except to point out that yet another discussion had been turned personal. If you look at my comments you will see that they all refer solely to Amy, who is after all fictional and surely does not mind my mildly sarcastic jokes about how the writers of a TV show portray her. I did not imply anything about what Doom Shepherd's view of what your average human being is like said about him; I only pointed out that I disagreed.

I have no interest in turning this into a fight, but the aggression did not come from me and I'm not going to pretend that it did.

I don't think it's childish to point out when someone is being condescending or aggressive, but I suspect this is something we should discuss in private.
