While I don't have a 50" HDTV, let alone a projector system, the comforts of home (my sofa, my beer fridge, clean floor, a bathroom that isn't up to Marine standards according to my old man but is still cleaner than any restroom in a theater, and the ever important pause button) outweigh the discomforts present in a theater along side the "experience" and "spectacle"

I'd have agreed about staying home before, but they built a nice new theater nearby and it's really different. The crappy old mall movie, which is now out of business, was like sitting on bleachers with a slightly larger than a big screen tv. Now, I only have a 27" and no fancy sound, and no couch, so you have me beat there.
