JMS has talked about that "small still voice in the back of [his] head" for as long as I've been reading his posts. He trusts it and it doesn't seem to have ever steered him wrong. It can't be easy on the nerves when it tells you to drop everything and try something new.

What's next? The things we know about are:

- Rising Stars - possible feature film for MGM
- Midnight Nation - possible TV series with Gale Anne Hurd and Universal
- JMS' autobiography
- novels and plays currently being worked on or maybe already being shopped around? Time will tell.

...and who knows what else? And all I've got to say is that somebody someplace had better bring all this stuff to a form where I can read/watch/experience it *now*! Immediately if not sooner!

Hear that universe?? Get to work!

The term, "Dream Police" sounds really cool. That's a great title. It makes me think they might be somewhat telepathic, and I love telepaths. The word telepath, itself, is really cool sounding.

What about telephone. LOL I really enjoyed Dream Police.

I hope this is another update we'll be getting in a few weeks. Just think of the excitement and pressure Jan must feel. Going into the pressure cooker of SDCC and having to be sure she catches everything JMS says. And I am hoping he says a lot - or just one really BIG thing I have been waiting to hear for years now.

You do realize that whatever he says. it's not likely to actually comics related, more likely to be adaptation related. But y'know...I'd *love* to see Dream Police as a TV show! Sorta Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) meets Dragnet.

ETA: RE: pressure. Audio Recorder: Check. Camera: Check. Batteries/chargers for both: check. New cushioned shoe inserts: Ordered. MySched app on phone: Check. Badge: Check. We're making progress with preparations!

Oh yes. I just meant with regard to the previous post from April about what was said on Facebook. That seems like one of those little items that is still hanging out there.

So team Jan, does JMS let you put the audio recording device next to him on the table? I wonder if it is possible for you to get Press credentials with the extensive coverage you've provided over the years? Granted the coverage has been of one subject, but you are basically the primary JMS reporter. I don't think anyone else can make that claim. Lots of news agencies have reporters whom cover only one individual. The difference being you are just your own news agency.

I've been known to put the recorder near him on the table but it really depends on the set-up. At SDCC, there's almost always a microphone set up for people to line up to ask questions. I 'room-surf' to make sure I get a seat on the aisle as close to that microphone as possible so I get good coverage of both the question and JMS' answer.

Sorta-kinda-not-quite. Getting tickets for SDCC has gotten to the point of winning the lottery literally. There are estimates that as many as three quarters of a million people are vying for those 130K badges. With the help of a couple of friends, I've got Professional status (at least through next year) so the odds are much better, at least for now.

Why I do it, aside from the 'moderate-to-severe' obsession factor, is that over time I noticed that too many reports from conventions weren't accurate. Not generally lying, but not accurate to what JMS actually said. So though I started recording for my own review (the man talks *fast*), I also found it handy to be able to refer back to what was *actually* said, not what was reported. And there are usually so many things JMS touches on, it's also good to have the recording for the sake of reporting back to y'all. That way I can enjoy the moment but still be able to report back accurately.

It's always good to get an accurate report. I have zero expectations this year, so I'm good. And I can feel happy about anything he says. If you get to tell him anything tell him to look after his health, and that we're all happy he's still with us!

And yes, I like the word telephone, too, but I like path better than phone.

That's what we should call telepaths in the future, telephones. *teehee*
