Nice little interview, I’ll be interested to see where JMS goes with Superman Earth 1. It’s normally the larger picture that makes JMS’ writing really tick.
I’m still finding it hard to get behind any of the ‘Before Watchmen’ stuff. The whole project just strikes me as cynical, filling in gaps that never needed to be filled. I will check some of it out in collected form when it drops, and will try to judge it on its own merits. I'll probably grab it from a torrent first to test the waters. As per usual, if I enjoy it enough I’ll buy it.
