This is a really cool review:

Sense8 may not be the show you want, but it is the show you need. The show everyone needs. The show that might solve humanity’s problems in one fell swoop. Okay fine, it won’t do that. But it’s the closest I’ve ever seen a far-reaching piece of art come to it.

I noticed this story on IMDB today. #4 is interesting.

"Top 10 Original Streaming Shows as rated by IMDB Users"

I am also glad Bosch made it, though I feel Season 2 was kind of weak next to Season 1.

(I guess I probably should have put this in the random thread. Oh well.)

This is fun. Found it when JMS posted on Twitter. This guy gives reactions to the episodes. Each seems to be about 9 minutes long. This is the first one I just watched.

Just watched through this, his reactions are perfect.
Also, I like that he loves the journey of the characters and the viewers as much as I do.

Not a trailer or commercial but since it's the most recently used S1 thread and it's unlikely to get bumped often anyway I might as well post it here.

Info on the S1 shoot in Seoul:

Quote:
Seoul Shooting Period:
From Sep 18 2014 To Sep 30 2014

Seoul Locations
Namsan Park, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Bukchon Hanok Village, IFC Seoul, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul National Cemetery, State Tower, Apgujeong-dong, Jongno
4 Locations in Seoul that Wowed the Wachowskis: http://english.seoulfc.or.kr/naa/na/...ew&IDX=629&p=1

http://english.seoulfc.or.kr/naa/na/...ew&IDX=632&p=1

Production Experience in Seoul
By Nick Laws, Production Manager – 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'Sense8'

http://english.seoulfc.or.kr/naa/na/...ew&IDX=633&p=1

Quote:
Our initial brief was that the project would be shot ‘hand held and available light’ with a small crew. The contrast to shooting 'Avengers' would be considerable. There would be no requirement to shut down large public areas in the city, and the ‘Sense8‘ production would require many Interior locations, in particular offices, flats and a Prison.

...

We soon came to realize that the demands and expectations for ‘Sense8’ were growing, with increased requirements for camera tracking and Set lighting. We came to regard ‘Sense8’ as another major Feature film shooting on location. We were able to secure some good office space for our Production Office, Art Department and Costume department (although once again we faced the problem of dealing with high property deposits and agents fees in Seoul.) We were aware of some of the challenges we would be facing from previous discussions with the 'Sense8’ team. In particular, we were advised that the Directors would often change their shooting plans. We thought we had prepared for all contingencies, but we were still unprepared for some of the late requests for new locations and long shooting days!

...

In particular on ‘Sense8’, we had a problem with a late request for filming on a street. This was a major challenge for our location department as they were initially restricted to certain roads by the authorities, which did not work for the Directors. Ideally, we would have had the support of the Police and traffic department to overcome any initial obstacle, to enable us to film in a chosen location. Having an ability to arrange permits at short notice (if agreed that the situation is safe, and minimizes disruption ) will always be an advantage to attract Foreign Productions. Moving a filming unit around the city can be challenging at peak times of the day, as it is in most international cities, but roads and traffic are very ordered and structured. There is a very good Public transport system and excellent hotels available. South Korea’s internet speed was also an advantage, and on ‘Sense8’ we were streaming rushes from our office ‘editing room’.
I hope the Seoul Film Commission will have write ups for S2 as well!

JMS posted a link to this interview with Alfonso Herrera:

No spoilers that I noticed.
