Oh great question. My memory says I did, but I haven't looked at them in years. Now I have a treasure hunt!

Okay so the treasure hunt was successful, but I remembered why I didn't remember them - they are terrible. I scanned them into my computer to see if I could salvage anything, but there is really nothing to be done with them. You can't really see Andreas in any of them. I have one decent pic and it is just of the outside of where he was signing autographs. Plus I have a closeup of the exterior sign, which I actually had to piece together from three separate pics. I had forgotten that the little mini-set they built for him to sign autographs in was very dark. My girlfriend at the time took a bunch of pics without using the flash. It is completely my fault. I was likely so wrapped up in the awe of the moment I didn't realize what was going on. Seems like I get distracted really easily doesn't it.

So I made a little album with the best three. It is VERY sad. I will try to do more work on them, but I don't expect much success. And I have the date as 04.25.1998. I can't confirm that is exact, but I am pretty sure it is.

Don't fret. Better to appreciate the moment and mess up mementos than miss the moment making mementos. Camera phones have made it almost too easy to forget to use our eyes and live in the moment.

And you're not alone in being caught up. I took my sister to meet the Backstreet Boys for her birthday some years ago and she was so starstruck she almost walked out of the venue BEFORE we took our picture! lol Luckily Brian was on hand to bring her back over to the group faster than I did. lol She says it's all a blur to her.

Well the reason I fret is it seems like there are so few photos of that Mall Tour out on the internet. I feel bad because I feel like I dropped the ball on capturing an important moment in B5 history. Anyone know of a good place to find an archive of people's pics from the tour?

Sure wish I was going to Rochester. According to a recent episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine it is a wonderful vacation destination.

Just found this post that Jason Carter will be at a con in Louisiana:

Quote:
Best known to sci-fi fans for his role as Ranger Marcus Cole on “Babylon 5”, Jason Carter, born in London on September 23, 1960, is a British stage, film and television actor.

Leads in school plays and summers at the National Youth Theater of Great Britain led to three years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). In the Physical Theatre classes taught by Jane Gibson, who trained under Jacque le Coq in Paris, Jason found the acting and thinking tools that would inform his approach to his professional work.

Graduating in 1981 after a three-month tour of Holland and Belgium playing Romeo in “Romeo and Juliet”, Jason pursued his craft in a variety of roles. High points include playing Macbeth at Chichester Festival Theatre, three long runs in the London West End: “The Sleeping prince” with Omar Sharrif, Simon Gray’s “Melon” with Alan Bates, Simon Gray’s “The Common Pursuit” directed by the author, and Steven Berkoff’s Royal National Theatre production of Oscar Wilde’s “Salome”. In British television, Jason starred in two series, a mini series, a number of TV movies and numerous guest star roles.

Jason has enjoyed collaborating with many directors developing characters and evolving scenes. He worked closely with Jason Lehel whilst starring in “Boiling Point”, Gil Cates JR. on “The Mesmerist”, and Nick Ward on Working Title’s “Dakota Road” for which, at the Festival du Cinema Britannique de Dinard, Jason received a commendation for his performance as “Raif” from chairman of the judges, Ben Kingsley. The director’s chair is an as yet unrealized creative interest for Jason that he looks to pursue for the future in addition to his acting work.

On American television Jason has had many roles, beginning with Connor, the hero’s nemesis on the pilot episode of “Viper”, and guest starring in many popular series including “Beverley Hills 90210”, “Angel”, “Sentinel”, “Lois and Clark”, and “3rd Rock From The Sun”. When Jason auditioned for Marcus Cole on “Babylon 5”, he had been told it was to guest star, and so was delighted when his surprised agent informed him it was a three-year contract and he had secured the role – a role that would change his life.

Whilst making “Babylon 5”, fine actor and dear friend, Richard Biggs suggested they partner up and develop fun classes to jointly share the craft they both loved. Richard and Jason would hold “The Biggs and Carter Experience” at conventions until Richard’s death in 2004.

Recently, Jason starred alongside Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth in the 2016 western drama, “The Duel”.
