If you like Hamlet, great drama, intensity, righteous vengeance, long-term storylines, a little action, and motorcycles, it's for you. Top rated show on FX, exceeding even The Shield.

Maggie Egan (ISN Anchor) was on the March 24th episode of The Mentalist ("Behind the Red Curtain").

And if anybody missed, Robin's the voice of Joe Fitzgerald in the trailer for JMS' TEN GRAND comic coming in May.

Finally ! ! !

I suppose this is a good thread to place this in because it certainly isnÆt important enough to deserve its own. It isnÆt a current sighting, but it is related.

I have lobbied for years (i.e. I once mentioned it in Shout FactoryÆs forum as a title they should release.) and the æCLASSICÆ Arena (1989) is finally coming out on DVD. Babylon 5 and Star Trek fans should know this movie, but if they donÆt here is a hint. Claudia Christian is in it (not enough) and there are some Trek actors in it. I donÆt want to give away too much, but there is a space station and an arena. In all seriousness, there are B5 and Star Trek actors in it and it is bad, which by some estimations can be very good. I felt this was worth a mention because there are some recognizable faces from the two shows and if you enjoy watching bad movies that often make you ask, ôWhat were they thinking?!ö then this is one of those. That isnÆt saying anything against the actors. They worked with what they had. And I should also say that maybe there are some out there who think Arena is cinematic gold. Unfortunately for those folks they donÆt know what cinematic gold is. This movie is what it is. A low budget attempt to make a profit; or launder some money; or avoid some taxes; or any of a myriad of reasons people made a movie like this back in 1988. Anyway, Shout Factory is releasing it July 9th in a Sci-Fi Movie Marathon 4 pack with America 3000, Eliminators, and The Time Guardian; all real æCLASSICSÆ that you can own for the WHOOPING pre-order price of $9.99. I donÆt know, is that price telling?

Is a 'CLASSIC' better or worse than a "CLASSIC"?

A "CLASSIC" is really bad and not worth watching. It is called a "CLASSIC" because the irony is that it is not a *classic nor is it even an enjoyable movie watching experience. A 'CLASSIC' is really bad and worth watching, in my humble opinion. It is so titled 'CLASSIC' for irony's sake as well, but this use of irony is milder and meant as more of a means of adding to the enjoyment of the movie. So a "CLASSIC" is bad and should be avoided. A 'CLASSIC' is bad and that is what makes it entertaining. And yes, I have just copy written the meanings of this terminology by writing it down in this forum; you just read it so you know it is true. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

. . . . OR I could say . . .

The reason I said, " 'CLASSIC' " is because if I had said, "CLASSIC" then someone may have assumed I was quoting someone else. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

*Classic is classic.

Yeah I'm bored - Got a problem with it!

And in other news, I don't know if anybody's mentioned that Crusade's Gary Cole will be on a couple of episodes of the HBO comedy VEEP. It's not showing on IMDb that I can see but that was definitely him I saw in the preview.

I get him confused with Keven Bacon a lot.

During one early scene, Armstrong's friend Shorty enters a seedy casino using the password "swordfish."
The film's tag line "For a thousand years, no human has been the champion. He wants to be the first." contradicts the actual plot as Marcus was the last human champion 50 years ago, and Steve describes him as the reason Steve became a fighter.
Features future Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Babylon 5 stars Marc Alaimo, Armin Shimerman, Hamilton Camp, Claudia Christian and Shari Shattuck. Both shows also take place on a space station in the future.
Originally intended for a theatrical release, the film was released directly to videocassette on September 19, 1991 by RCA/Columbia. The film is currently available via Netflix streaming. On July 9, 2013 the film will be released on DVD as part of a 4-Pack with America 3000, Eliminators, and The Time Guardian.

No longer available on Netflix streaming but Never on Tuesday is.

Looney, I love B Movies, so this is definitely going on the 'to watch' list. There are many 'CLASSIC' films out there!

Equally good is 'The Hidden' because it nails that high octane 80s action flick vibe so well. Also added Claudia content with THAT famous dress.
