Lost in Space Reboot

I'm sure there was a previous thread on this, but here's the first trailer:

https://youtu.be/I5X3vC-XsU0

and a more recent featurette:

https://youtu.be/PLQURfozB-8

It seems fairly family oriented like the original. It breaks the JMS rule of 'no kids'... Looks a bit meeeeeeh tbh.

The actor playing Will Robinson is the same as played young Will in Sense8. He was quite good in that.

Ahhh, fair play. I didn't make the connection. There are some superb child actors out there, and I think we're past the token 'cute' kind that we saw in a lot of earlier ST TV. I was never a massive Lost in Space fan, although I definitely remember watching it as a kid.

I guess Stranger Things is a great example of an exemplary young cast.

Ran across a non-spoilery review. Didn't know Bill Mumy was appearing.

I have to admit, that review makes it sound quite appealing. Cool that Mumy got a cameo.

I just watched the pilot. It was surprisingly good.

I saw some kind of meme going round about people finding the Robot sexy. Or rather Netflix, compiled an promo campaign based on that.
