Gearing Up For Season Two (Possible Spoilers)

Thought it might be time for a new thread that deals with season two. Here's a fun interview with Freema:

So, I found out a tiny bit more than I did last week, and each week I’ll probably learn a little bit more. But overall, it’s probably going to be saved for the table read, which is when we all found out so much the first time round.

Somebody asked JMS if they might be filming seasons 2 & 3 simultaneously:

Considering how much work goes into making a season, no real surprise ..

Looking forward to this. I want more answers and clarity on the sharing / visiting! I also want to know about Whispers and his motivations.

I am hoping for a B5 style progression, whereby each season gets better and better. I liked season one, and it served as a solid set up for more, but I wasn't left totally breathless by any means. Here's hoping S2 can blow me away.

Same! And I wonder if the division of work will be the same as last time. I swear I could pick out the JMS heavy scripts!

No more division. Unlikely S1 where the Ws and JMS were writing scripts from remote locations and then handing them to each other for improvements and additions, this time they are co-writing each script while sitting in the same office. Or at least that was the plan.

Are the scripts trickling out or are the actors slow readers? Or are they trying to torture us?

I think we all know this new plan will likely lead to a season two that is better than season one, which means it might just be too good for me.

I'm so curious about where the show will go now the groundwork is done. I expect bigger, better and faster!

I'm not sure it could be better! As for faster...not sure. I really hope they stick to the way the audience only knows what the characters figure out so that may need a less-than-breakneck pace. I really hope so, anyway. The moments are what make the story for me and scenes like 'What's Up?' and the birth scene shouldn't be rushed.

In case nobody's noticed, I don't have any use for non-stop action.

I am sure it could be better. I am not saying Season One was not great, but it was not perfect. There were definite weak moments. I think some of it can be chalked up to establishing the story and I think some of it can possibly be attributed to the scope of the project. I think having the creators working in the same building is going to be a huge factor in making Season Two better than Season One. I think this is a critical step in eliminating weaknesses that might have come out of the scope of the project.

P.S. Have I missed any news of a Season One Blu-Ray release?

Nothing so far. Nor soundtrack, though at one point JMS said they were in negotiations for the soundtrack.

"It's not perfect"? Your perception and what the creators wanted may be different.

Not in every instance. I am sure there are moments when even they said "We made a mistake there."

Possibly. I find the phrase vastly over-used, though. I should have made that point clearer. Since when is ANYthing perfect?
