Mine still says "Billing Information Received" and has been that way since the 24th. I'm hoping that's just a ups web-site problem again (like last time where my number didn't even show up in the system until the package was at my door).

Mine went from Billing Information Received on the 25th to arriving today!

Mine was shipped yesterday and I already have a tracking number. If UPS is as fast as it has been for the last two deliveries, the books should be here by Friday or Saturday ... YAY!

I got mine last night. Woo Hoo !!!

Great stuff. #15 is well worth the price of admission.

Boy, JMS' hand must be tired after all those signatures.
I'd rather not go into book commentary until a few more have gotten theirs.

Mine seems to be in UPS limbo. It has been in Illinois for many moons. Where, oh where are you my little books?

It's alright for you USA peeps with your fancy "tracking numbers". Those of us on this side of the pond just get a note saying it's shipped and a ... "oh, but you can't track it, hahahaha!".

...

I may have added the last part of that, but I'm sure they are thinking it.

...

Is it here yet, Mommy?

You DON'T get a tracking number? That is weird. I've got one every time I ordered something from Cafepress. But tracking can be nerve racking ... I know my books have left Cologne, but since today is a holiday, I won't get them! Have to wait until tomorrow.

I think it is to do with them using Royal Mail for delivery at this end. They do not provide a way to track anything unless you send it Recorded or Special Delivery ... and even then you can only check that it has been delivered and not any point before that.

Oh, ok, I thought they'd use UPS everywhere. Thanks for clarifying that.

Not to rub it in or anything, but my books are on the truck for delivery! Yay! (And yes, I know how spoiled I am with tracking. I track everything and I appreciate it soooo much!)

I have my books. Now I can go into my soundproof room with a cup of tea and some chocolate. I will see you when I am finished. (OK, maybe I don't have a soundproof room, but with an 8 year old in the house, I sure wish I did.)

Unhappy

Uhoh, something is really, really wrong.

UPS just came by but they suddenly wanted me to pay 70 Euros (108 Dollars) tax! That is more than 50 Euros more than I payed for my last shipment which was more expensive than this one!

I refused to accept the package, called UPS who said they calculate it depending on what the seller writes and even refused to consider a miscalculation (how can it be I have to pay way more tax for a cheaper shipment???). I already sent a panic mail to the Help Email Address at B5 Scripts, but I am still in shock.

Has anyone here in Germany ever experienced the same or does anyone of you know what to do and whom else I could call? There must be a mistake, I can't believe that this is right.

*Starstuff*

// Update: I knew this was wrong! After calling Customs they told me there is no Customs Tax for books (that would leave the slightly too high import tax) and now I called UPS again and got someone nice on the line (the other lady was a ... not very nice) and as it turns out the declaration of Cafepress says there is software and a t-shirt in my package That explains the taxes. Now I wonder if the declaration is wrong or the whole shipment

Just got a call from UPS: they confirmed the mistake and will correct the bill. *sigh* I hope I didn't cause the people at babylon5scripts dot com too much trouble, I must've sent them 4 or 5 emails by now. Sorry, guys, didn't mean to panic anyone, but this huge tax sum just shocked me.

I gonna make me some tea to relax ...

// Another update: I got my books. UPS sent the driver again by my home. Now I just have to wait for the bill that should have the corrected tax amounts. And have I mentioned that Jaclyn is great? She reassured me that this wasn't my fault and if there should be any hassle, they would help me out. I've never felt better taken care of anywhere than with the B5 Scripts team, really.
