Is jms always this quiet?

I've been on this site a few years, I'm used to seeing jms pop up once in a while, and we really haven't heard much from jms lately. I realize he's busy. Is it characteristic that he drop off of sending a little info once in a while?

This seems to be the longest he's gone without posting to the moderated newsgroup but he seems to have been posting to his Facebook page instead and I think the number of interviews he's doing is pretty constant.

Question

Could someone please post a link to JMS's Facebook page? For some reason I cannot find it through a simple Google query.
Thanks!

He's not super responsive to people anymore. I think he's switched to a more controlled medium where it's more guarded.

Took me a couple of goes to find it as well. Always stayed clear of things like facebook so was a bit surprised by the number of ‘official’ pages relating to B5 and jms that were set up by fans. Here’s a link to his page. (need to log on to facebook to see correspondance etc.)

Thanks for the link!
Not being a Facebook user, I'm a little clue-less about how the site works. Must I subscribe to Facebook in order to see JMS's posts there?

You do need to be a member of Facebook to see people's pages. After that you can see their pages, but you have to be a friend of that person to comment on their posts.

I'm feeling really...erm...out of touch with reality now, but...where are his Facebook posts (the ones that Jan mentioned)? I don't see them on JMS's Facebook page. Do they vanish after a while?

Thanks!

They're all there. You may be on the wrong tab. Look toward the top of the screen, just to the right of his photo and you'll see tabs for Wall, Info, Photos and Notes. His posts, and the posts people write to him are on the Wall tab.

There are no tabs at all.

Am I missing a link or must I sign up?

Looks like Triple F and Spoo Junky were right and you do need to sign up in order to see the pages. From the page you posted, if you click on JMS's name you'll automatically get a screen where you can sign up or log in.

Really, though, if he posts anything interesting you can be sure that it'll be posted here in the forums.

Thanks, Jan. I closed my Facebook account a while back and I'd rather not re-register after all the headache of getting out.

He lives! I posted my periodic request for an update and he responded. Bottom line: He's super busy, as usual.
