Hi, Chromate, welcome. Hang on a bit while I ask DougO to upgrade your account. Glad to have another Sense8 fan among us!

Jan

Well Sense 8 is NOT Babylon 5. Do you know anything about it? It is an excellent show with excellent characters, but the content is definitely geared toward adults. I REALLY wish I could see Babylon 5 done with the freedom Sense 8 has. I might be in the minority though.

Now would be a good time since season two is set to drop on May 5.

Oh, definitely the creative freedom and resources that Sense8 has!

The main way that I see Sense8 resembling B5 is the long-term set-ups. Yes, we've only gotten the first season and Christmas Special, but after experiencing B5, you kinda notice things.

OH DEFINITELY TRUE ! ! ! ! ! ! I wish I would have thought to mention that. In a way Babylon 5 might be considered the first EPIC novel or even a collection. Now that Sense 8 has a Season Two we might finally get to see what JMS can do with a second EPIC novel. Of course Jeremiah got a Season Two and things were really starting to ramp up, but unfortunately it was taken from us. So my guess is that we're finally going to see the second EPIC novel after an awesome Season Two that moves on to Season Three.

I know only the basic premise of it and that it's definitely more adult-geared. I'm not hesitant about that. I just need a Netflix account. lol
