About the Oracle of Bacon

This is the most comprehensive version of the Kevin Bacon game on the web. The object of the game is to start with any actor or actress who has been in a movie and connect them to Kevin Bacon in the smallest number of links possible. Two people are linked if they've been in a movie together. We do not consider links through television shows, made-for-tv movies, writers, producers, directors, etc. For example, you might wonder how J. Michael Straczynski can be connected to Kevin Bacon. One answer is that:

Kevin Bacon has a J. Michael Straczynski number of 2.

Kevin Bacon

Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)

Elizabeth Dean (II)

Clint Eastwood

I suspect that the definitions need changing so that directors, producers and writers are considered to be in a film.

The original game, six degree of seperation from Kevin Bacon, only considers acting connections. Adding directors, producers and writers provides additional connections, but sort of violates the spirit of the orignal game. Besides, with JMS' acting credit in Thor he can now take his rightful place in the Kevin Bacon universe.

Just for fun, I tried me ... I'm four away from JMS.

I was in Destination: Outer Space with Mike Cook.

Mike was in North Country with Amber Heard.

Amber was in And Soon the Darkness with Adriana Barraza.

Adriana was in Thor with JMS.

I'm also only three or four links from every actor who played the Doctor in Doctor Who.
