'Dark Shadows' actor Jonathan Frid has died

I was sad all day yesterday when I got the news that the actor who'd played the original Barnabas Collins passed away on April 13 at the age of 87. His co-stars have said some very loving things about him. I had the pleasure of seeing him in just a few other things but he was a fine actor and, from all reports, a lovely man.

...in memory still bright. Dark Shadows was a big part of my childhood. The worlds a little dimmer place knowing that this particular light has gone out.
